Bagged Lunch Request

Need to take a meal with you? Any student may request a bagged lunch in advance for work, athletics, classes, travel or another need. Bagged meals are prepared for pickup so you can take your meal with you when your schedule keeps you away from the Dining Center.

Visit the Thomas Dining website Campus Store and select Bag Lunch Request at least 24 hours in advance. Any weekend orders need to be placed by Friday afternoon, to ensure they are prepared.

Missed Meal Swipe Request

A Missed Meal Swipe is a prearranged accommodation for qualifying students with a legitimate scheduling conflict. It replaces the dinner you are unable to attend — it is not an additional meal, a late-night meal benefit, or an option simply because dinner was missed.

Visit the Thomas Dining website Campus Store to access the Missed Meal Swipe form. Enter your contact info and the date and time you need to use the meal swipe. In the form, you will need to provide the reason for the missed meal (athletics practice, late class) and the name and email of the coach or professor related to the schedule conflict, so the request can be validated.

Go to The Dog Pound at your requested time and bring your ID to the Dog Pound for the cashier to scan your card. Select your meal upon arrival. (This program is only intended for times when The Dining Center is closed.)

The meal swipe includes either options from that evening's Savory line dinner menu, if still available, or The Dog Pound entrée line. The meal includes a fountain beverage.

Meal Plan Changes

Changes to meal plans after the initial selection are made directly with Thomas College Student Financial Services. Mandatory plan changes, within the allowable choices, may include greater or lesser count plans only through the first two calendar weeks of the semester. This “grace period” ends at 11:59:59 PM on the date supplied in the student waiver/meal plan selection form. After the grace period, mandatory plans may only be changed to higher count plans. Mandatory plans may not be dropped unless your place of residency has changed to a non-dormitory location. Please, note that any change to a plan will result in a recalculation of your Board Bucks as stated above.

Usage

Swipes are for the use of the meal plan holder only. A guest pass may be used to allow another student to join the meal plan holder in the Dining Center, or they can pay the door rate with Terrier Bucks, cash or credit/debit.

Billing

Meal Plan billing appears on student's accounts. Plans selected through the student waiver processed by Thomas College Student Financial Services in a timely manner after received. Plans purchased directly from, and changes to plans made directly through, Thomas College are typically processed within five business days. After the start of the semester, meal plan costs and Board Bucks are prorated in accordance with the Thomas College refund policy should the student be changing resident status from Commuter to Resident and opting for the meal plan, or Resident to Commuter and opting out of the meal plan.
